A huge thank you to Claire Frances MacNeil who delivered a mesmerising presentation at our Bardic Supper on Saturday. We learned a great deal about the life, songs, and poetry of Donald Iain MacKinnon (Am Bàrd Barrach), the mid-20th-century Barra bard.

Local Gaelic Classes by ClannGàidhlig
ClannGàidhlig is delighted to be offering classes for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced learners of Gaelic each week in West Johnstone Shared Campus, Beith Road, Johnstone, PA5 0BB. Classes cost £5 per week, paid termly in advance.
2025/26 classes started on Tuesday 19th August 2025, full list of dates here.
The classes have received support from Bòrd na Gàidhlig through the Taic Freumhan Coimhearsnachd scheme which is gratefully acknowledged by ClannGàidhlig.
